PLEASE! No More Snow!

This is the amount of snow I remember as a kid but everything seemed large as a kid. This winter the white stuff isn't going away and every time it comes it comes up to our knees! It is no fun trekking out to barn in this stuff. I am looking forward to Spring because Willow eats nonstop and she needs some green stuff so I can stop feeding her all day. The next day our snowman and dog had already started to melt and Willow had eaten the buttons and eyes off. Nothing lasts in our yard!

WOW! A Local Livestock Auction!

WOW! We were in for a surprise. I do auctions regularly but we have never done a livestock auction. All sorts of animals including beautiful Flemish bunnies. But we were after a friend for Willow. Some of the livestock was sick and some with broken legs. Some were pets now going to be dinner. The buyers were from all over! NY,NJ, PA,FL. Different nationalities. Arabs, Jews, Italians, and quite a bit of locals.

In the end we got the little one below. We thought it was a young girl but turns out it is a boy. We think it is a Nigerian Dwarf Goat but if anyone has a suggestion I am willing to hear it!
